A pot filled with pinks, forget-me-nots and hidden until the Spring - Tulipa National Velvet. This was a present for one of my lovely sisters (am lucky enough to have three) because the last time we had coffee she was promised one for her front door. Late, but there now, and with love.
The decision making of the past few days has finished, and the outcome welcome to all - and thankyou to Karen who left great advice. It was simple really; if I work there then I should give as much as I'm able and want to.
The house smells of Christmas. Crushed cloves and cinnamon bark sitting in the bowl waiting to be added to a grain mix for filling Christmas decorations. Mmmm. And today the first of the beads arrived; they're very Christmassy, too - pearls, crystals, gold and green, so tonight the sewing has begun again. It's lovely being able to make things. Sometimes I forget that.
