....all of whom like to splash around in the bath, and then make sure they each have their own facecloth:
Notice that one of the monograms is satin stitched; this was very difficult around such small letters, so was abandoned in favour of a more relaxed approach for the remaining two. I can always sew on a new one if they come off in the wash.
One of the few good things about this dreary weather (we've lost the snow and now just have drear) is the chance to play around with colour indoors. Especially the sewing room:
The bunting was made from the tin of inspiration from Rachel - part of my campaign to have such things out where they can be seen, not tucked away in a tin. Which is why the mood board in front of my sewing table has also been updated. Some pictures have been removed, others moved around, and others are newly cut from magazines. The new rule is that only one year's worth of magazines can be stored at any one time. Which is pretty tough, I can tell you.
The room is looking pretty and colourful, and also tidy. Anyone else find that the more you use a room, the tidier it stays? No? Just me then. And the state of our dining room, which is rarely used, is testament to the truth of that.
